Teaching

Jennifer is in strong demand as a teacher, and is known for her great long-term mentoring relationships with students, often writing references for programmes such as the Duke of Edinburgh Awards. She has received many thanks and much gratifude from parents of students. 

Young Beginners (Primary/Prep School Age)

Jennifer is a specialist in working with young beginners, with whom she builds rapport combined with motivation and clear structure. She has worked at multiple prestigious Prep Schools, including Norfolk House (Muswell Hill, North London) and Notting Hill Prep (Central London).

Secondary School Age

Jennifer is also excellent with Secondary school students, having taken multiple students over the years from beginner to over Diploma level.  

Jennifer currently teaches at the number 1 ranked state school in the South East, Dame Alice Owens in Herts., where her students range from year 7 beginners to Sixth Formers taking Diplomas.

Private Teaching

Jennifer also teaches select students privately. In several cases, Jen has taken students from beginner at age 5 or 6 up to grade 8 or Diploma at age 18+. In some cases, Jen has taken taught all the children of families for multiple years.

Jennifer currently has limited availability for in-person lessons at students' homes in North London. She also teaches privately in Welwyn Garden, Herts. 

Jennifer occasionally takes on Zoom students. Piano lessons on Zoom have their challenges but Jennifer honed her craft with over 20 students a week during the Lockdowns of 2020-21.
